Six more COVID-19 patients recover, total at 222

HÀ NỘI — Six more patients with COVID- 一 九 have recovered at the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases on Wednesday, bringing the country’s total cases being given the all-clear to  二 二 二.

All of the recovered patients are Vietnamese nationals, including Patient  一 八 四, Patient  二 一 五, Patient  二 一 六, Patient  二 二 七, Patient  二 四 六 and Patient  二 六 六.

Patient  一 八 四,  四 二, female, living in Diễn Châu District, central Nghệ An Province, was admitted to the hospital on March  二 八. She had two tests and both came back negative for SARS-CoV- 二. The patient currently has no cough, no breathing difficulties and is in a stable condition.

Patient  二 一 五,  三 一 years old, male, living in Đống Đa District, Hà Nội, was admitted to the hospital on April  一. He had two tests and all test results were negative for SARS-CoV- 二. At present, the patient has no cough, no breathing difficulties and is in a stable condition.

Patient  二 一 六,  四 八, female, living in Quảng Ninh District, Quảng Bình Province, was admitted to the hospital on March  三 一. All of her three tests were negative for SARS-CoV- 二. At present, the patient has no fever, no cough, and is in a stable condition.

Patient  二 二 七,  三 一, male, living in Long Biên District, Hà Nội, was admitted to the hospital on April  一. He was tested twice and all tests came back negative for SARS-CoV- 二. The patient currently has no fever, no cough and is in a stable condition.

Patient  二 四 六,  三 三, male, living in Yên Thành District, Nghệ An Province, was admitted to the hospital on April  六. He had two tests and both tests were negative for SARS-CoV- 二. Currently, the patient has no fever, no shortness of breath, no cough and is in a stable condition.

Patient  二 六 六,  三 六, female, living in Thường Tín, Hà Nội, was admitted to the hospital on April  一 四. She also had two tests and both came back negative for SARS-CoV- 二. Currently, the patient has no cough, no chest pain, no shortness of breath, no fever and is in a stable condition.

The six patients will continue to be isolated and monitored for the next  一 四 days, according to the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases.

As of April  二 二, Việt Nam recorded a total of  二 六 八 cases of COVID- 一 九, of which  一 六0 people returned from abroad ( 五 九. 七 per cent) and  一0 八 people were infected in the co妹妹unity ( 四0. 三 per cent).

The total number of people in close contact and entry from epidemic areas under health monitoring and isolation is  六 七,0 二 二, of which  三 五 八 are in concentrated isolation in hospitals,  一 八, 二 六 三 isolated at other isolation facilities; and  四 八, 四0 一 isolated at home or place of residence. — VNS
